At ArtScanAndPrint.com, we know how important safe, reliable shipping is—both to us and to you. We’ve refined our logistics to a fine science to ensure your artwork is always handled with care.
Incoming Artwork for Scanning
- Carrier of Your Choice
You’re welcome to use any carrier you prefer for sending artwork to us. Our Art Scanning Submission Form (link placeholder) will guide you through safe packaging instructions and help you plan your shipment.
- Local Pickup / Courier Service
If you’re in our local area, we work with an art courier service. You can use our Contact Form (link placeholder) to request more information about arranging local pickup.
- Crated or Large Items
Crated shipments delivered LTL must include lift gate service. We retain the right to refuse any LTL shipment delivered without lift gate service, as we only have ground-level receiving.
- Insurance
Customers are responsible for insuring their own artwork when shipping to us. We make no warranty or guarantee of any kind for artwork in transit. If we notice any damage as the receiver, we will document it immediately and notify you so you can make any necessary claim with the carrier or insurer.
Art in Our Possession
While we have decades of experience handling valuable artwork and a perfect reputation for safety and care, we want to be clear:
- We make no warranty or guarantee against any kind of loss or damage while artwork is in our possession.
- This includes, but is not limited to, accidental damage, theft, flooding, fire, or other unforeseen events.
- Customers concerned about risk should arrange additional insurance to cover their work while in our custody.
Return Shipping of Artwork
- Carrier & Insurance
We will return your original artwork using the carrier of your choice. You must specify insurance coverage amounts for the return shipment in your submission form. Please note that some low-cost carriers do not offer insurance for artwork. You may need to consult with an external insurer to fully protect your work in transit.
- UPS for Print Orders
We exclusively use UPS for shipping prints, whether for fulfillment/dropship or for sending directly to customers. Before sending anything, we will provide a quotation based on service level and destination.
